High school basketball season in Cabarrus County has come to an end. Jay M. Robinson’s boys team lost in the 5A West Regional final to the top-seeded Hunter Huss, 72-63.

In the girls' championships earlier last week, Mount Pleasant Bailey Nimer won third place in the 1-4A 120 category.
