The Houston Preaching Mission is an annual lecture and sermon series hosted by Central United Methodist Church in Concord, North Carolina. Established in 1948 by Dr. William Cyrus Houston and his wife, Nina, it brings in renowned guest speakers to provide outstanding preaching to the community.

KANNAPOLIS – Crossover Kannapolis is an annual worship service among area churches that seeks to cross over racial, ethnic, and denominational barriers. With February being Race Relations Month, this 28th annual worship service seeks to demonstrate unity among the churches in the midst of diversity.
