MOUNT PLEASANT — The Cream of Cabarrus fourth-ranked Mount Pleasant Tigers ran their way to a big lead in their second round playoff matchup against the Tuscola Mountaineers. However, the Mountaineers nearly came all the way back in the second half of the game until the Tigers’ Ayden Smith capped off a fantastic night by putting the offense on his back for a game sealing touchdown, allowing Mt. Pleasant to advance with a 44-34 win.
