» Concord Takeout — Do you love to read but are too busy to select new books? Fill out a short form of your likes/dislikes and let a librarian select books personally, just for you. Give us two days after filling out the form, and you’re guaranteed some takeout you’ll remember.

» Education Takeout — Parents and teachers: Fill out a short form of your topical needs and the age of your children or students and let a librarian select books for you. Give us two days after filling out the form, and you’re guaranteed some takeout you’ll remember.

» Puzzle Exchange Program — Love jigsaw puzzles? Bring in a complete puzzle in good condition from home and exchange it for another one. No checkout required.

» Baby Story Time — Songs, stories and finger plays. Ages 0-walking, with caregiver. 9:15 a.m.

» Preschool Story Time — Stories, songs, finger plays and more. Ages 3-5, with caregiver. 10 a.m.

» League of Extraordinary Legos — We’ll bring the Legos; you bring your imagination. Now with Duplo. Drop in. Ages 4-12. 4:30 p.m.

» Creative Coding — We’ll code all kinds of surprises — with music, animation, color or an idea of your own — then share our projects with the group. All Scratch skill levels are welcome, from beginner to master. Registration required. Ages 7-12. 4:30-6:30 p.m.

» Pokémon Club — Trainers of all skill levels are welcome to join and test their skills. Both Pokémon trading cards and video games are welcome. Bring your own cards or games. The library will provide loaner decks if you do not have your own cards. Ages 9-14. 4-6 p.m.

» The Night of the Boogeyman — Come experience the thrill of an escape room through a table-top card game. Search the scenes, combine objects and solve the puzzles to help little William evade the awful Boogeyman. Ages 10 and up. 5:30 p.m.

» Teen Home-school Hub Writes! — Ice breakers, short stories and word games are just some of the fun activities in store. Ages 12-16. 2-3 p.m.

» Complete Your Advance Directive — Join us for a series of advance directive planning workshops, presented by Atrium Health, that will explain how to review and complete health care power of attorney and living will forms. These workshops will also offer free notarization of advance directive forms as well as guidance on what to do with them once they are complete. You may drop in at any point during these times. Most people spend about 45 minutes at the event. 6 p.m.
