Flagship Healthcare Properties, a healthcare real estate firm from Charlotte, acquired a more than 221,000 square foot portfolio that features four Class A medical office buildings in Cabarrus County and two more in Rowan County.
The portfolio, which is more than 90 percent occupied, is led by Cabarrus Family Medicine, an Atrium Health property.
Three of the buildings are in Concord, while there is one apiece in Kannapolis, China Grove and Locust.
“The transaction has been a collaborative effort and we are excited to support Cabarrus Family Medicine in their mission of providing quality care to the communities they serve,” said Gerald Quattlebaum, senior vice president of acquisitions at Flagship, in a press release. “The acquisition of these six medical office buildings expands our footprint in the Charlotte market and furthers our long-standing relationship with Atrium Health.”
According to a press release, Flagship Healthcare Trust, Inc., Flagship’s private real estate investment trust, purchased the portfolio from CFM Medical Properties, LLC. Flagship will provide property and asset management services, as well as accounting and lease administration for the buildings.
