MINT HILL – The Hickory Ridge girls basketball team won its third game in a row, downing Rocky River on the road Friday night, 59-44.

The Cream of Cabarrus fourth-ranked Ragin’ Bulls defeated the Ravens by double digits, 50-37, just two nights earlier.

Sophomore forward Jasmine Fearne was hot all night and led the Ragin’ Bulls with 20 points. She added seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Junior point guard Kennedy Calhoun came through with 15 points, seven assists and three steals for Hickory Ridge, and junior forward Maya Henry provided 10 point and seven rebounds.

Hickory Ridge’s record is now 11-9 overall, which includes a 6-4 mark in the Southwestern 4A Conference. Rocky River sits at 5-11 overall and 3-7 in league games.
