CONCORD – Senior guard Demi Case pumped in a season-high 22 points Tuesday night to help the Cream of Cabarrus top-ranked Central Cabarrus girls basketball team blow past Concord, 70-33, at Rimer Gymnasium.

Case drilled five 3-pointers during the win, which improved the Vikings’ record to 16-5 overall and 7-0 in the South Piedmont 3A Conference.

Central Cabarrus also pushed its winning streak to nine games.

Other top performers for the Vikings were senior forward Aniyah Tate, who finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds, and senior point guard Ja-el’ Miller, who had 14 points and seven assists.

Freshman guard Emonie Hicks scored 11 points for Concord, which is 5-16, 0-7 in conference action.
