HUNTERSVILLE – The cfa Academy girls basketball team concluded its season in impressive fashion, as the Cream of Cabarrus No. 2-ranked Eagles throttled SouthLake Christian, 78-12, on the road Friday night.

The game was effectively decided by the opening tip, as cfa Academy built a 20-3 advantage in the first eight minutes and only allowed SouthLake Christian to score two points in the second half.

Junior guard Jael Hall led cfa Academy with 17 points on the night. Also for the Eagles, junior forward Reagan Dickens had 14 points, senior guard Bailey Stinson had 13, and junior guard Zykia Benjamin added 12.

cfa Academy, which has a 23-6 overall record, also is the champion of the Metrolina Athletic Conference with a perfect 12-0 mark.
