CONCORD Dorothy Ann Scocca, 78, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her family. A celebration of life mass will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 15, at St. James Catholic Church, officiated by Father Jerome Chavarria, CSsR, with burial to follow at St. James Catholic Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the church, prior to the service. Dorothy was born March 1, 1941, in Flushing, N.Y., to the late Anna and John Thomas Healy. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Shea; and brother, Tommy Healy. She had worked for many years in the insurance business. Dorothy enjoyed talking, eating, and bowling. She also spent time volunteering at the hospital, serving on the Women's Guild and as a Eucharistic Minister at St. James Catholic Church. Dorothy is survived by her fiancé, Ed Kolibabek; daughter, Mary Ann Helms and husband, Bob; son, John Scocca and wife, Sandi; grandchildren, Jason DePascale, John Scocca Jr., and Brianna Maria Scocca; and great-grandchildren, Karter DePascale, and Decker DePascale.
