SALISBURY Miss Desiree Ellyse Gulledge, 20, passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019. A celebration of life is scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 16, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John G. Miller and Minister Joyce Ann Tobin Perry will officiate. The family will receive friends at Lady's Funeral Home from 12 to 1:45 p.m., prior. Miss Gulledge was born Dec. 24, 1998, in Cabarrus County. She was a daughter of Antonio Damon Lawing and Jennifer Marie Gulledge Spaetti. Desiree always touched many lives. She brought smiles and joy to her friends and families. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bobby J. Gulledge Jr. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Harmony Gulledge of Salisbury and Demi Lawing of Kannapolis; four brothers, Quenton Gulledge of Salisbury, Elliott Wilds, Nick Wilds Lawing and Casey Lawing, all of Kannapolis; maternal grandparents, Robin Hatley Kelly and Tommy Kelly; paternal grandparents, Myra Tobin Watkins and Andrew Lawing; maternal great-grandparents, Shelby and Gary Barnes and Bobby J. Gulledge Sr.; paternal great-grandmother, JoeLeslie Allison; stepmother, Monita Lawing; stepfather, Michael Spaetti; and nephews, Jayton, Julian and Jeremiah.
