James "Jim" Franklin Cauble CONCORD James "Jim" Franklin Cauble, 77, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, with family by his side. Jim was born in Mooresville, Nov. 23, 1941, to the late Fred Frank Cauble and the late Margaret Brown Cauble. Jim was owner of Jim's Auto Repair in Concord for 59 years. He loved hunting, fishing and being on the lake. The lake house on Lake Norman was where he and Janice spent as much time as possible. His family will forever cherish the memories of cookouts and gatherings at the lake with their friends. Jim leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Janice McClamrock Cauble; his son, Robert J. (Leona) Cauble; his daughter, Kelly (Jaime) Cauble Ritchie; his grandchildren, Garrett D (Coan) Ritchie and Kathryn "Katie" Ritchie; his great-grandchildren, Rhett Ritchie and Heath Ritchie; niece, Bobbie (Charlie) Edwards; lots of friends and neighbors; and of course, his furbabies, Libby, Cookie, Sunny, Tinker and Queen. A memorial service for Jim will be held at a later date. The family will be gathering at the home. Jim was also preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Ray Cauble, and half sisters, Daisy "Jackie" Cauble Earnhart and Gladys Cauble Goodnight. The family would like to thank Dr. Frate at Ardsley Internal Medicine and the staff at Tucker Hospice House.
