Commemorate the 50th anniversary of the lunar landing with a visit to the Eastern Cabarrus Historical Society Museum through Sept. 29. Photos, memorabilia and audio recordings commemorate the lunar landing of Apollo 11 and the Apollo 8 and 10 missions. The museum is at 1100 N. Main St., Mount Pleasant. Hours are Sundays from 2-5 p.m. and Mondays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $3.
