Across the nation I am shocked and dismayed at the bold public push for late-term abortions in New York, Vermont and in neighboring Virginia.

As a volunteer at the Cabarrus Women’s Center, I want to encourage our community to continue to stand for the sanctity of life. So many women are simply in need of support, resources or a listening ear to evaluate and choose life for her baby. We are so fortunate that many neighbors, churches and public officials in Cabarrus and Rowan counties are boldly prolife. Their public support and donations of time and resources help women in our community receive free medical services at our Concord clinic and or at other prolife groups such as the Gateway Pregnancy Resource Center.

I supported Jennifer Dunbar and other candidates at Cabarrus County GOP Convention that boldly make a prolife stand. Anyone who supports abortion will not have my support.
