CONCORD – If you live in Concord, you are in the right place, according to a report compiled by Money.com.
Concord is listed as the 79th out of 100 best places to reside in the country.
Money.com considered data on each place’s economic health, cost of living, ethnic and economic diversity, public education, income, health and safety and ease of living and amenities.
After all of the data was shared by its research partner Witlytic, Money.com reporters researched each location, interviewed residents and searched for other intangible factors not in the statistics.
“We are honored to be recognized as a top place to live,” Concord City Manager Lloyd Payne said. “Mayor (Bill) Dusch and the Concord City Council continue to be forward-leaning in providing funding to advance the quality of life in our community. Team Concord works hard each day to continually improve and provide excellent customer service to our residents and visitors alike. This honor is a result of the positive partnerships we have and will continue to cultivate with our residents and businesses.”
Clarksville, Tennessee was ranked first on the list.
Other North Carolina cities and neighborhoods included are: Country Club Heights in Charlotte (No. 5), Asheville (No. 27) and Durham (No. 53).
