On Tuesday, April 16, the Concord Police Department, along with Cabarrus Health Alliance and Cabarrus County EMS held a Spanish language meeting to discuss the dangers of opioids and opioid abuse.

Approximately 50 guests attended the meeting to learn the warning signs of opioid abuse and how to protect their families.

For over a year, all the local law enforcement agencies, including the Concord Police Department, have partnered with the Cabarrus Health Alliance and Cabarrus County EMS, to educate the public about the dangers of opioids and heroin.
