Cabarrus County Schools will host an interest meeting about the Governor’s School of North Carolina process for students in 10th and 11th grades and their parents. The session is planned for Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 6 p.m. at Central Cabarrus High School.

Governor’s School of North Carolina Coordinator Tom Winton will share information about the program, details about applying, as well as important dates and deadlines.

Governor’s School of North Carolina is the oldest statewide summer residential program for academically or intellectually gifted high school students in the nation.
