BURKE COUNTY — A Morganton woman who was charged for her involvement in a 2016 double murder has gone missing.
Burke County deputies say 35-year-old Brandy Nicole Davis did not show up to court for her sentencing on Wednesday.
Davis is charged with two counts of accessory after the fact. In 2016, Albert Austin and Spencer Murray were found dead inside of a burnt-out vehicle.
Davis, along with Scott Hemphill, Brian Robinson and Icey Gooden were charged in the murders that happened on Sept. 18, 2016.
Davis is described as a black female, about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 230 pounds. Deputies said she has a “Karter” heart tattoo on her right hand and a “Kamdyn” heart on her left, a “B” tattoo on her right forearm and “Anthony Jr” on her left.
Her last known address is on Jamestown Road in Morganton.
