Two men were arrested in Kannapolis for cocaine possession with intent to sell, according to Kannapolis police.
After an investigation into drug sales in the area of West 22nd Street and Strickland Court in Kannapolis, police arrested Phillip Tywon Grady and Jeffrey Leonard Sturdivant.
Grady was charged with nine counts of possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine and nine counts of sell cocaine. Sturdivant was charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, sell cocaine, and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.
Police said more charges may be forthcoming.
The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office, ATF and Homeland Security Investigations provided assistance with the investigation.
