Chyna Cross, Jared Whitehead and Myreon Bennett

CONCORD — Police arrested four people, including one juvenile, involved in a robbery Jan. 5 in the Concord Mills Mall parking lot.

Police arrested and charged 18-year-old Chyna Cross and 18-year-old Myreon Bennett, both from Concord, and 20-year-old Jared Whitehead, from Charlotte. A 16-year-old also was taken into custody.

They are all charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Cross was additionally charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

Police said a robbery happened around 3 p.m. outside the entrance to Burlington Coat Factory at Concord Mills. Victims reported having cash taken from them after being hit with fists and threatened with guns.

Cross was arrested under a $125,000 bond. Bennett and Whitehead were arrested with $50,000 bonds. The 16-year-old is in custody at the detention center.

Police said the arrests were made after receiving tips and information provided by the public.
