CONCORD — The Concord Fire Department responded to a fire call early Saturday afternoon.
Fire crews arrived on scene within two minutes of being dispatched and found smoke coming from the second floor of the house on St. Mary Avenue. The incident was brought under control and the fire was extinguished within nine minutes of being dispatched, according to a news release from the fire department.
A total of four engines, two ladders, and two battalion chiefs responded, with a total of 25 firefighters. There were no injuries reported.
Concord Fire Department was assisted by Cabarrus County EMS. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
