Teachers Night Out

As a way of thanking and showing appreciation for the community’s teachers, the Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting Teachers Night Out at The City Club at Gibson Mill on Thursday, Aug. 8 from 4 p.m. – 7 pm. The event is free and open to all teachers working in Cabarrus County Schools, Kannapolis City Schools, charter and private schools within the county.

The event will feature food, drinks, giveaways, presentations, vendor tables and door prizes. It will give teachers from across the county the opportunity to network among peers and make new connections to help grow comradery and support.

The event is sponsored by Leigh Brown and Associates – Re/Max Executive, Nova Credit Union, Carolinas Health Care NorthEast and Ben Mynatt Family of Dealerships. Many chamber businesses will be hosting tables for the event. Additional tables for members are available but selling out quickly.

“We are quite blessed to have a really great quality of life in Cabarrus County, and excellent educational choices are a large part of that,” said Barbi Jones, executive director, Cabarrus Regional Chamber. “We want our teachers to know how valuable and appreciated they are, and this business community loves and supports them. This is a small way we hope we can show them.”

The event is limited to the first 400 teachers who register, and registration is required. To register, please visit Cabarrus.biz/teachers.
