Code Ninjas

Local entrepreneurs and Code Ninjas franchise owners, Anjali and Vivek Dighe, were recently recognized by Code Ninjas corporate headquarters as the recipients of the Cultural Advancement Award. The couple received the award for their extraordinary contributions as leaders and brand advocates among the Code Ninjas Charlotte community and the Code Ninjas franchise community.

The Dighe’s joined Code Ninjas in April 2017 as its first franchisees. Their first center opened in Concord in February 2018 and their second center in Ballantyne in October 2018.

Even as the franchise has grown to more than 150 franchise owners with 500 territories across the US, Canada and UK, the couple continues to stand out for their remarkable impact on the company, locally and across the brand.

Last year they were also named a Black Belt Center, representing the 90th percentile of Code Ninjas centers in revenue generation and customer satisfaction.

“We are beyond honored to be recognized as the Franchisee of the Year. Code Ninjas has allowed us to contribute to our community by teaching children coding and has also granted us the opportunity to work with an exceptional team and incredible students who inspire us daily,” said Anjali Dighe.

After successful careers working in business and technology in Washington, D.C., Anjali and Vivek moved to the Charlotte area eager to continue their work and contribute to their new community.

The couple noticed a lack of STEM opportunities in the area for children who love and thrive off technology, like their son. When the pair found Code Ninjas they knew it would be the perfect opportunity to pursue their passions while giving back to their community.

They have set themselves apart as leaders within the franchise ever since.
