Outlaws dirt races driving visitors to town this week

CONCORD, N.C. -- The World of Outlaws World Finals, which is the season-ending event for three national dirt track touring series, comes to Concord this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, drawing 40,000 people to the three-night event.

This year marks the seventh annual World Finals, drawing fans from three continents, according to Charlotte Motor Speedway officials. This year, fans are coming from all 50 states, seven Canadian provinces, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Australia.
